The Academic Road Bump

I’ve hit a road bump in my academic career at this point.  I lost my employee scholarship and am no longer working for the school I attended.  This would have allowed me to complete my MA in Cinema Studies and be a very, very, happy man. It now means I need to contemplate my next moves.  This blog is, in part, about my life as a cinema studies student. I’m anguished about the status of this road bump.  Let me add my professors are great instructors.  Dr. Cox-Stanton and Dr. Rawlings have been extremely great in helping me shape my academic life. I don’t want to give up on my academics.  I need to think this over.  Just like with screenplays being accepted/rejected, I may be back at square one.  I however, am not down and out.
